Beyond Captain

Once you've served as a commanding officer for a year without taking a leave of absence, you will be eligible for consideration for a promotion to flag officer rank. We'll be looking at your contribution to fleet wide out of character work, including your ability to organize, delegate and avoid taking on too much work yourself. Where possible, we'd like you to have guided a commander through to the position of commanding officer through good mentoring.
